Following the theoretical session in Bordeaux (May 27–29, Read post), we were delighted to welcome from June 9–12, 10 french and international participants to CYCERON and Université de Caen Normandie for an intensive hands-on training phase.
Over four days, we walked participants through the full workflow of an immuno-imaging experiment in rodents: from producing, functionalizing, and characterizing our own contrast agents (including size distribution and zeta potential measurements) to testing them in preclinical models of neuro- and systemic inflammation and all the way to in vivo MRI/MPI acquisition and data analysis.
A great opportunity to really connect theory with practice, share expertise, and gain hands-on experience with multimodal imaging approaches.
A heartfelt thank you to the participants of the practical phase (Florent Auger, Noémie BEHA, Lilianne Beola, Manon LAGNIEL, Jihane Madroumi, Mahsa Mokhlesabadi, Jonas G. Scheck, Niccolò Silvestri, Mohammad Yamout, Alexandra Yakusheva, PhD) for their enthusiasm and great energy. It truly made this hands-on experience both dynamic and rewarding.
A clear takeaway from the workshop: progress in immune imaging depends on integrating multidisciplinary expertise with multimodal technologies, such as MRI, PET, MPI, X-ray imaging, ultrasound, and others.
