Current diagnostic imaging techniques, including computed tomography pulmonary angiography and ventilation\/perfusion scintigraphy, rely on ionizing radiation, raising important safety concerns for women, particularly during pregnancy, where both maternal breast tissue and the fetus may be exposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-small-font-size\">Objective<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This project aims to develop a novel, radiation-free imaging approach for the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism in women using Magnetic Particle Imaging.
